On Friday evening, December 24, Swainsboro firefighters and their families along with officers from the Swainsboro Police Department continued the Santa’s Ride through Swainsboro. Started on Christmas Eve 2014, Santa’s Ride through Swainsboro has become an annual event that is loved by many. As each year goes by, Ladder 7 transforms into a festive Santa’s sleigh number 7. Many hours are spent by firefighters to attach multicolored LED Christmas lights to the truck. This year, the journey travelled 37 miles through the neighborhoods of Swainsboro, bringing cheer to children both young and old.
