The world seems to be in a very dark place right now. As each day goes by it seems to be getting darker. When I say dark, I speak of gloom and unrest. Darkness indicates no sight and no insight. When you wake up in the dark and try to walk, you stumble, you fall, you are confused and you go in the wrong direction.
The world is living very confused today. There is corruption in high places. There is implementation of the flesh as we see through deception, lies, discourse, hatred, jealousy, prejudice, greed, murder. The effects of such is seen through man's destruction of the world by climate change, earthquakes, storms, drought, and the list goes on.
There is coming upon this earth very shortly a time that has not be seen before.
In the beginning Genesis tells us that God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form. Darkness moved on the face of the waters and God said, " Let there be light and there was light." Once God spoke the light appeared. The darkness could not comprehend the light. When God spoke, the darkness disappeared.
In the book of Saint Matthew chapter three, John declares, "Behold the Lamb of God which takes away the Sin of the world." He declared that Jesus is the Light of the world. He is the true which lights every man's life. Yes, the world is confused and operates in darkness with Jesus.
So, to alleviate darkness, receive the true light. You can see and know where you are going through Jesus Christ. You don't have to stumble in life. He came to make the crooked straight. He came to bring light to the dark places in your life. Not only your life but to your children and to your children's children. Be diligent to tell them about the Light. Be diligent to let the Light shine through you. Let them see your love, your kindness, your joy, your peace, and your long suffering.
Yes, Jesus will light up every area of your life if you receive him and let him shine in. So, rise up and shine in this dark world because the Light Has come. Jesus is the light for the world.
