That's a Wrap for the 2022 Legislative Session!

Dear Friend,

I hope you and your family had a blessed Palm Sunday and are preparing for a wonderful Easter Weekend. It is such an incredible honor to represent District 4 in the State Senate, and I am proud of what we accomplished together during the 2022 Legislative Session.

I am deeply appreciative of the opportunity to serve and want to thank each of you for your support throughout the session. Many of you have sent encouraging messages, shared our social media posts, and read our weekly updates. I look forward to making my way around the district soon, but in the meantime, keep reading to learn what we accomplished this session.

HB 910 - The State's budget which includes teacher pay raises, pay raises for all state employees, and returns one billion dollars to Georgia taxpayers

HB 304 - Suspends the state gas tax through May 31st, 2022 but allows the Governor to extend the suspension through executive order

SB 514 - The "Unmask Georgia Students Act" gives parents the right to choose whether or not their children should wear masks at school

HB 1084 - Bans the teaching of divisive and racially charged concepts and bans biological males from competing in girls' sports

HB 178 - Creates a Parents' Bill of Rights guaranteeing parents the right no know what is being taught in their child's classroom

HB 1013 - The "Mental Health Parity Act" increases funding and access to mental health and substance abuse resources

HB 1437 - Reduces the state income tax for individuals

SB 319 - The "Constitutional Carry Act" expands Second Amendment rights for law-abiding Georgians

HB 1041 - Increases the rural hospital tax credit

SB 441 - Gives the Georgia Bureau of Investigation authority to investigate election fraud

HB 1150 - The "Freedom to Farm Act" unburdens farmers and adds protections to their operations

During our campaign, I promised to bring my business experience and conservative values to the Senate to deliver real results for the hardworking folks in our district. The legislation outlined above does just that.

This session was a home run for conservative, pro-growth policies, but our work is far from over.

The Left is going to double down and launch a full-fledged attack on our families, values, and way of life.

Rising prices, record inflation, woke agendas, and indoctrination in the classroom - this is their agenda, and we have to stop it at all costs.

We have to defend the Republican majority in the State Senate and elect conservatives who will stand up for our values. Help me do that by chipping in a few dollars by clicking the "Donate" button below or by mailing a check to P.O. Box 25 Statesboro, Georgia 30459.

Again, it is an honor to serve you in the State Senate. If I can ever be of assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

God bless you,
