Bryson Tarver has been selected as the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen for SHS. This award recognizes and rewards high school seniors who possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities. Tarver was selected by his teachers and peers because he demonstrates these qualities to an outstanding degree. He will now move on to the scholarship portion of the program by writing a personal statement and essay. Scholarships are awarded to essay winners at the chapter, state, division, and national levels.
