The Swainsboro Rotary club met on May 2, 2022 at the Rustic Grill. Jessica Peebles, President, called the meeting to order and the club had an invocation, pledge and the 4-way test. Dori Johnson discussed the Pine Tree festival pageant and the upcoming float for the parade. The club members will need to decorate the float and also be in attendance at the parade to direct the contestants. The pageant was a huge success and we have had so many positive comments. Colton Lewis, a 7th grader in the county, presented a program, “CNC provides for you and me”. He won 1st at the state 4-H competition. Colton is the grandson of Vernon and Mariam Hardy. After the program, the meeting was adjourned.
