The Swainsboro Kiwanis Club recently inducted Jeffrey Brewer as a new member beginning with the 2019-2020 Kiwanis year.
Mr. Brewer was sponsored by current president, Dess Smith, and was formally inducted by the 2019-2020 Division 17 lieutenant governor, Dan Bennett. Through his membership, Brewer becomes a member of an organization that internationally stages nearly 150,000 service projects, devotes more than 18.5 million hours of service, and raises nearly $100 million for communities, families, and projects.
Locally, members are involved with service projects at all county schools, the Franklin Memorial Library, and, most recently, The Presbyterian Apartments, with the Adopt-a-Senior Project.
The club’s new member is married to Connie Brewer, and is the son of the late Jesse and Mildred Brewer.
