The Swainsboro Jaycees hosted a virtual blind question debate with Swainsboro mayoral candidates Greg Bennett and Shayna Boston on Thursday, October 7, at 7 p.m. at the Swainsboro-Emanuel County Auditorium. The event featured 10 questions covering a wide range of topics addressing local concerns of Swainsboro citizens. Prospective council persons for Swainsboro City Council were also given the opportunity to attend and share their platform. Those present to share their platform were Sue Bragg, Dr. David “DJ” Davis, Luis Machado, Dr. K.E. McNeal, and Gregory “Gregg” Quarterman.
