The following occurred during the Emanuel County Superior Court January 2021 term:

Calvin Mario Monroe negotiated a plea of guilty on one count possession of schedule I controlled substance, one count DUI, and one count speeding. He was fined $800 and sentenced to three years, with the first 90 days to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation. 
James Allen Rich negotiated a plea of guilty on three counts entering an automobile and one count theft by taking (misdemeanor). He was fined $50 and sentenced to 15 years probation. The sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with conditions of probation imposed by the court as part of this sentence.

Anthony Edwards negotiated a plea of guilty (alford) on one count suspended license, one count failure to maintain lane, and one count obstruction of an officer. Edwards also faced one charge of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer. He was fined $5,550 and sentenced to three years probation. The sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with conditions of probation imposed by the court as part of this sentence.

Jonathan Allen Lamb negotiated a plea of guilty (alford) on one count sale of meth. He was fined $50 and sentenced to 12 years probation subject to private rehab. The sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with conditions of probation imposed by the court as part of this sentence.

Cassandra R Pannell negotiated a plea of guilty on one count possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, one count possession of methamphetamine, one count possession of schedule IV controlled substance, and one count possession of marijuana <1 oz. She was fined $50 and sentenced to 30 years, with the first five years to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation.

Desiree Michelle Scott negotiated a plea of guilty (alford) on 21 counts financial transaction card fraud. She was fined $50 and sentenced to 12 years probation.

Jeremy Wix negotiated a plea of guilty on one count speeding and was fined $500. Two additional charges of possession of meth and possession of drug related object were deemed nol pros. 

Terrance V. Worthern negotiated a plea of guilty on one count sale of methamphetamine. An additional charge of driving without a license was deemed nol pros. He was fined $50 and sentenced to 10 years probation. The sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with conditions of probation imposed by the court as part of this sentence.

Jeffery Wayne Waters negotiated a plea of guilty (alford) on one count possession of meth. Additional counts of driving without a license and tag light violations were deemed nol pros. He was fined $50 and sentenced to 3 years probation. The sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with conditions of probation imposed by the court as part of this sentence.

Ashley Jones negotiated a plea of guilty (alford) on one count possession of meth. Jones was fined $50 and sentenced to 3 years probation. The sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with conditions of probation imposed by the court as part of this sentence.

Dessie Marie Lovett negotiated a plea of guilty on one count forgery in the first degree. She was fined $50 and sentenced to 15 years probation. (Criminal action #21CR54) Under a different criminal action case (21CR139), Lovett also negotiated a plea of guilty on one count cruelty to animals (aggravated). For this, she was fined $50 and sentenced to 5 years probation. This sentence runs consecutive with criminal action # 21CR54. The sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with conditions of probation imposed by the court as part of this sentence.

Shanna Stevens negotiated a plea of guilty on one count sale of meth. She was fined $100 and sentenced to 30 years probation with the last 18 years being suspended. The sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with conditions of probation imposed by the court as part of this sentence. The court sentences the defendant as a recidivist under O.C.G.A. § 17-10-1(a).
