Timmy and Amanda Story of Swainsboro are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Sera Gabrielle Story, to David Ellington of Garfield. Mr. Ellington is the son of Angie Ellington of Garfield and David and Fran Ellington of Orangeburg, SC.
The bride-elect is a graduate of David Emanuel Academy. Miss Story received her Bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University and her Master’s degree from South University. She is currently a Physician Assistant at Ray Medical Clinic and Medical Provider for David Emanuel Academy Varsity Football. She is also Co-Head Varsity Softball coach at DEA. Miss Story is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Seab A. Clark of Swainsboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Story of Oak Park.
The future groom graduated from Emanuel County Institute. Mr. Ellington is a farmer at Johnson Land and Cattle and a Garfield Volunteer Fireman. He is the grandson of Louise Oglesby and the late Buddy Oglesby of Garfield and Lottie Overstreet and the late Randy Ellington of Twin City.
The wedding is set for April 22, 2023, at 6 p.m. at the bride’s family farm. A reception will follow at the same location.
