STC campus to remain closed while online instruction continues

Posted

On March 26, 2020, Governor Brian Kemp issued an executive order stating that all “public post-secondary schools shall remain closed for in-person instruction with limited exceptions for the rest of the semester.” Therefore, as directed, Southeastern Technical College will not re-open either campus to the general public until the end of the current semester. Online instruction will continue.

The staff is working diligently to find the answers to many questions raised by these unprecedented times, especially questions regarding students who are enrolled in programs that require “hands-on” lab time, students who are applying for programs that are competitive admit, such as Associate of Science in Nursing, and parents who utilize the childcare center for their children. Answers to these concerns will be publicized as they become available. Because the current local and national situation is changing daily, the administration is meeting daily to respond and act accordingly. STC stakeholders are encouraged to read and monitor school email accounts, the school’s website, and the school’s social media accounts for updates.
