Swainsboro Primary School's first and second-year teachers and their mentors received a gift coupon to purchase new books for their classrooms. The anonymous donor from the First United Methodist Church provided books for seven new teacher classrooms and seven mentor classrooms. The donor wanted to support the Emanuel County School District's literacy initiative and Teacher Induction Program.
