June 1

Officers had a vehicle towed due to it sitting on city property for 13 days after the owner was told to move it.

June 8

A report of a damaged vehicle was made. The vehicle had deep scratches on the sides, and it's believed to be caused by the neighborhood children scratching it with their bikes.

Officers responded to a report of an irate student at one of the local colleges. The student threatened the instructor after failing a test, and the school wants to criminally trespass the student from all locations.

Officers completed an arrest to a person with warrants in another county.

June 9

Officers responded to a report of a dispute. The complainant stated her and her boyfriend were in an argument and he took her car and threw her stuff out.

A report of a damaged vehicle was made. The complainant stated her brother got mad and kicked her door. There wasn’t any damage, but you could see the footprint. He couldn’t be located at the time.

Officer performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle going 53 in a 35. When pulled over, it was discovered that the driver had warrants for his arrest in Florida. He was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a dispute. The complainant stated her and her boyfriend got into a fight, and he ripped her clothes off. When speaking to the offender, he stated she took things out of proportion, and the complainant’s son stated it happened when he went to hug her. The offender had visible marks on his face. The offender agreed to leave the apartment.

June 10

A report of stalking was made. The complainant stated she keeps receiving letters from an unwanted person, and they refused to stop sending letters.

Officers were dispatched to the sound of gunshots. When on the scene, the officers found a casing, but nobody said they heard the gunshot.

A damaged vehicle report was made. The complainant stated she doesn’t know if it happened at the grocery store or work. Footage shows it didn’t happen at the store.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle’s tail light being out. The driver’s license was suspended, so he was given a citation.

A report of a dispute was made. The complainant stated a woman held a knife to his neck when he refused to give her his keys. He stated she took his wallet and left. He was intoxicated at the time. The officers then interviewed the offender, and she was also heavily intoxicated. She stated she took his keys so he wouldn’t leave. She also stated there was never a knife involved.

A report was made of a dispute. Two juveniles got into an altercation, and one of the boy’s dad reportedly slapped the other juvenile. After getting everyone’s story straight, the father stated he never laid hands on the boy, he told both of the boys to leave each other alone because they caused nothing but trouble. No marks were found on the boy.

June 11

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle having their bright lights on. The passenger had marijuana and other drug related objects, so she was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of someone blowing the horn outside a residence at 4 a.m. The driver stated her boyfriend stole her phone and she tracked it to the location. The resident checked the vehicle and it was in the back seat.

A report of a stolen camera was made. The complainant stated his uncle stole his porch camera.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle not having valid insurance. When pulled over, the driver had a noticeable odor of marijuana on them. After doing a search, the officer found a bag of suspected marijuana, and the driver was arrested for a DUI.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle speeding 50 in a 35. When pulled over, the officer picked up on a marijuana odor. The driver admitted to having some, and gave the officer all that he had. The officers then found suspected methamphetamine in a box in the back. He was arrested.

June 12

Officers responded to a report of gunshots. When arriving on the scene, there were several casings on the ground, but no guns or witnesses.

A damaged vehicle was reported. The driver was distracted and hit a concrete curb.

A report of a dispute was made from a local gas station. The complaint stated she was getting yelled at for “taking up the line”, and the offender got irate and pointed a gun at the complainant. The offender stated she never pointed a gun. She had it in her vehicle when the complainant was fussing at her, but no gun was pulled.

A report was made of a dispute. The complainant stated her children’s father keeps following her from work. He also followed her to the police station to state his side of the story, stating he just wanted to see his kids.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle having too much tint in the window. While searching the vehicle in reference to another case, they found suspected cocaine in a hairspray bottle. He was arrested for drug trafficking.

June 13

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle not having a tag. The vehicle was towed for not having valid insurance as well.

A report was made of someone being held at gunpoint.

Officers responded to a report of damaged property. The complainant stated someone busted her T.V., and suspects it was her ex-boyfriend.

A report was made of a damaged vehicle. The complainant stated he hit a bucket of paint in the parking lot due to it being in a blind spot. There was paint all over the passenger side front wheel.

June 14

A report was made of a dispute. The complainant stated the offender threatened to fight her if she saw her again.

Officers responded to a report of assault and harassing messages. The argument was over Snapchat, and a fight happened at Taco Bell.

A vehicle was towed due to a driver recklessly driving with suspended registration.

Officers were dispatched in reference to a dispute. The offender was upset because the complainant was supposedly with his ex-girlfriend. He then threatened the complainant. He was told to call the officer if he tried anything.

Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct. A couple was fighting, and the officers interviewed both parties. The woman stated the male hit her several times. The male denied it, and stated she threw his stuff out into the yard and broke his phone. They were both arrested.
