April 27

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle not being registered. When pulled over, the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was arrested. 

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle speeding 53 in a 35. The driver had a suspended license, and this was their third offense. The driver was arrested. 

A report of a dispute was issued. The complianant states her neighbor keeps riding by her house and harassing her. The complianant already has a TPO against the offender. They were advised to stay away from each other. 

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at a local shoe store. A couple came into the store, and the male distracted the worker asking for shoe sizes while the female was grabbing items and running. This is the second time this has happened, presumed to be the same couple. 

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a driver not having a seat belt on. When pulled over, the officer saw a bag of cocaine. The driver and passenger were arrested. 

April 30

Officers responded to a report of a peeping tom incident. The offender was caught looking through the windows of a residence late at night. When confronted, he told the officers he was looking for the house owner’s grandson. The offender had a crack pipe on him, and was given the chance to destroy it so he wasn’t charged. 

A report came in of a couple trespassing on property. The complianant called and stated that a couple was on her property preparing to smoke some unknown substance, and she told them to leave, and they complied. 

Officers responded to a report of gunshots fired, along with dogs barking. There were no guns seen or dogs injured. 

May 1 

Officers were dispatched to a care home in reference to a dispute. The complianant stated she was hit in the back with a walker, and has many problems dealing with the offender. They were told to keep their distance from each other.

Officers responded to an unwanted person report. The offender keeps coming to the complainant's house late at night and she doesn’t want it to continue. She was advised to call the law if he showed back up. 

May 2

Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. When on the scene, the complianant stated her child’s father had stolen the vehicle. 

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle having very tinted windows. The driver was irate about being pulled over for tinted windows, but she also had a strong odor of marijuana on her. She had two blunts in the vehicle, but was not impaired. She was given citations.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle not maintaining a lane. When pulled over, the offender stated he was just released from the ER and that’s why he was like that. He was given a citation for DUI, failure to maintain lane, and driving on a suspended license for the second time. 

Officers were dispatched in reference to an angry former employee. The employee went to get his last check, and threw his uniform behind the counter and was cursing at the staff. He was issued a CTW. 

May 3

Officers responded to a report of a dispute. There was a woman beating on the door of a local motel room. She was trying to argue with her boyfriend. She poured cat food on his vehicle. She was given a CTW.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle speeding 53 in a 35. The driver also had a suspended license, and was arrested. 

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle not having insurance. The vehicle was towed. 

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle having an expired tag. When pulled over, the driver had an open container of alcohol but wasn’t under the influence. When searching for the driver's information, it was discovered he was a wanted man for Bulloch County, and was arrested.
