March 31

Officers responded to a report of a criminal trespass. A female stated she got home from work and

her security cameras were broken and thrown in the yard. Officers are looking into it.

A report was made of a hit and run by a local gas station. A female was leaving when she saw her

  1. When she left, the ex-boyfriend chased her and rear ended her vehicle. She arrived at her

mothers and informed him he was on camera, so he fled.

A report of a disturbance came from a local gas station. A male was damaging a gas tank and

talking about spaceships. He was arrested and they found a pipe with marijuana in it.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a driver not stopping at a stop sign. When pulled over, the

driver had an alcoholic odor on him. When the officer tested him, they found pills, marijuana, and

cocaine on the driver. He was arrested.

April 1

Officers responded to a report of a theft. When the officers arrived, the victim stated they took a

stove, and a brand-new hot water heater. Also, the offenders cut the lines on his second water

heater.

A shot was heard within a patrol area, citizens state it was just a shot in the air.

A report was made of a damaged vehicle. It had a dent but the owner doesn’t know where it could’ve come from.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle having a brake light out. When pulled over, it was

discovered that the license was suspended. The driver was arrested.

April 2

A report of stalking was made. The complainant stated his brother kept following him all over town.

A CTW was issued for an offender continuously asking for money after being asked to leave.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle having an invalid tag sticker. When pulled over, the officer smelled a strong marijuana odor, and asked to search the vehicle. In the vehicle contained a marijuana roach, a pipe, marijuana, crystal like substances, and several types of schedule

substances.

Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct. When the officers arrived, they approached a

male with a bloody nose and stated he didn’t want the girl locked up that gave him the bloody nose.

She stated she did hit him but only because he choked her, but there weren’t any marks on her

neck. They were both arrested.

Officer assisted another officer at a traffic stop. The driver had a suspended license and looked

intoxicated. They were given a test and failed. While giving the test, the passenger kept disobeying

orders to stay away and he didn’t listen. He was then found walking in the middle of the road. He

was asked several times to get to the sidewalk. He was highly intoxicated. After refusing a ride

home, he was arrested for public intoxication.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle not having a proper tag. While checking the

information, the driver fled on foot. The passenger had two warrants against him, and resisted arrest, so he fled as well. The chase went through a bamboo patch, K9 unit Maya was deployed and ended shortly after the taser was needed. The driver was later found and arrested.

April 3

Officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute. When they arrived, the call stated the offender

that hit her was still inside. The officers couldn’t find him. She stated her wallet was missing.

April 4

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle’s registration being expired. When pulled over, the

vehicle had a strong odor of marijuana coming from it. The vehicle was searched and the officers

found a mason jar containing marijuana and an unregistered handgun. The driver and passenger

were arrested.

April 5

Male was arrested and carried to the city jail for being intoxicated in the courtroom.

Weather damage to a vehicle was reported.

April 6

A report was made of battery and aggravated assault. A complianant stated that he was jumped over

the weekend and held at gunpoint. There was video footage.

A report was made of a stolen wallet. The complianant stated that her wallet, and snacks were stolen

while she was at work. Her ex-boyfriend admitted to stealing them later on.

A report was made of an irate customer. A customer wasn’t satisfied with his vehicle, so he made a

fuss about it at the dealership he got it from. A CTW was issued.

A report was made of a few stolen bicycles from residence.
