Swainsboro Police Department has announced Grayson Brinson as the grand prize winner of the second annual Treasure Hunt for Kids program.

During the month of July, officers with the Swainsboro Police Department hid rubber balls with written messages throughout the City of Swainsboro. Once the balls were hidden, clues were dropped on SPD's Facebook page for children to begin searching for the hidden balls. Once located, participating children returned the ball to police headquarters and was rewarded a surprise. Following the conclusion of the program, names of participating children were placed in a random draw for an ultimate prize give away. This year's ultimate prize was a blue Huffy Rock It bicycle.

Grayson is the 5-year-old son of Heather and Ben Brinson of  Swainsboro. His favorite color is blue, just like the color of his new bike!

When asking Grayson what he thought of his prize, he stated: "It's good. I'm going to ride it fast!"

Excited and grateful, he thanked the Swainsboro Police Department for his prize before heading home to try out his new bike.
