September 11

Officer responded to a Maryann St. address in reference to a dog going in his yard and jumping on his daughter.

Officer initiated a motorcycle traffic stop for failure to stop at a stop/yield sign. Upon further investigation, it was found that the driver had suspended/revoked drivers license, no insurance, and an out of state warrant.

Officer responded to a local business on S. Main St. in reference to a under the influence female on the premises causing a disturbance to other guests.

Officer made a traffic stop for no tag and a non-working taillight. Officer was informed the vehicle was just purchased and they weren’t able to get insurance because the office was closed. Officer informed driver that the vehicle had to be insured to drive on the roadway, and therefore the vehicle had to be towed and citation was given for no insurance.

Officers were dispatched to a William Rountree Rd. address in reference to a stolen air conditioner.

Officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to worker observing a female at the self check-out not scan several of her items totaling $249.53 and attempted to exit the store with those items.

September 12

Officer responded to a MLK Jr. Blvd. address in reference to damage to a vehicle.

Complainant stated she left her wallet in a shopping cart at Harvey’s, and when she returned to get it, it was gone.

Officers were dispatched to Latitude 105 in reference to a fight.

Officer was patrolling the area of Jerome st. when he noticed a vehicle was stopped in the roadway and and failed to move to the shoulder when officer went by. Officer conducted a traffic stop and could smell alcohol. Driver failed the sobriety test and marijuana was found in his vehicle.

Officer was dispatched to W. Church St. in reference to complainant stating someone broke her glass lawn table, and that this was the second table that has been broken, and she believes it may be her neighbor due to her telling her not to park on her grass.

Officer was dispatched to a Braswell Blvd. residence in reference to a stolen social security number.

Officer responded to a Gumlog Rd. apt. in reference to a stolen vehicle.

September 13

Officer was dispatched to N. Green St. in reference to damage that occurred at New Mt. Morjah Church.

Officers were dispatched to a Racetrack St. apt. in reference to vehicles that got hit during a shooting.

Officer received a call from an off duty officer that watched offender sell alcohol on Sunday.

Officers were dispatched to Old Nunez Rd. in reference to a vehicle that got hit during a shooting.

Offender stated he hitched a ride to Enmarket with two males and one started asking him questions about how much money he had and one of them swung on him and hit him in the face. Complainant stated he then jumped out of the vehicle on Coleman St.

Officer was dispatched to a Emanuel Rd. address and was advised to use caution. Upon arrival, a male and female were arguing. Offender denied calling 911, but later admitted calling because he was having trouble with his ex.

Officers responded to a S. Main St. business in reference to a fight in progress with reports of gun fire involved. Further investigation revealed that the suspects in question had engaged in a dispute with a second party while inside earlier that night that later escalated into a physical altercation that led to a shooting.

September 14

Officer was dispatched to Solomon St. in reference to a dispute with threats. Complainant stated she allowed victim to borrow her truck and he had it longer than he was supposed to and got angry when she called him to bring it back. Complainant stated she became scared when her alarm when off stating that the victim somehow took the truck back inside the fence and managed to climb on her roof, setting her alarm off.

Officer was dispatched to Lake Luck Dr. in reference to a damaged vehicle.

Officer met with complainant in reference to finding a ladies wallet.

Officers responded to a local business in reference to complainants card being stolen. Complainant saw the victim come out of an ally and told officer that was her. Officer left and got behind the vehicle and initiated his blue lights and siren and a chase began.

September 15

Officer responded to a New St. address in reference to a dispute between a father and son.

September 16

Officer conducted a traffic stop for failure to maintain lane and reckless driving.

Officer initiated a traffic stop for the tag being registered to a different vehicle.

September 17

Officers were dispatched to a Center St. address in reference to an altercation.

Complainant stated an unknown person took out a federal student loan in her name.

Officer was dispatched to W. Church St. in reference to an unwanted person at the residence.

Officer took a report in reference to lost property.
