July 17

Officer was dispatched to a Stevens Drive residence in reference to a lost wallet.  Upon arrival, officer was told that the victim caught a ride and dropped his wallet in the vehicle, but the driver denied taking the wallet.

Officer was dispatched to a Mary Ann Street address in reference to a stolen vehicle.

Officer conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Driver was charged with reckless driving.

July 18

Officer was dispatched to an address for offender failing a drug test while having a probation warrant.

Officer responded to a call at a Pughsley Street apartment in reference to someone kicking in the back door, stealing a game system and accessories.

Officer was dispatched to a W. Church Street address in reference to a verbal altercation.

Officer observed an oncoming vehicle with a headlight out. During the traffic stop, it was found that the driver had a suspended license.

Officer observed a brake light out on a vehicle. During the traffic stop, officer also observed the driver had a small child unsecured in the back seat and was driving on a suspended license.

July 19

Officer responded to a call in reference to property damage. Victim stated a known suspect busted a window out of her house.

Officer was dispatched to Old Wadley Road in reference to a domestic dispute.

Officer was dispatched to a N. Coleman Street address in reference to harassment.

Victim reported her unemployment debit card was mailed to her sister’s house, was activated, and was used without her permission.

Officer responded to a Longview Road residence in reference to disorderly conduct.

Officer responded to Enmarket in reference to a male who had been asked to leave several times but kept coming back and would not leave when asked.

July 20

Officer was dispatched to a N. Racetrack Street address for a shot being fired. Complainant stated the shot came from the wood line behind his residence. Officers were unable to find any evidence.

Complainant advised officer that a friend of his gave him a lawnmower deck for payment for helping him move. Complainant was told that the lawnmower deck had a previous bill for repairs, where the lawnmower was located, and that he would have to pay the repair bill for it to be released. Once the bill was paid and back in his possession, the lawnmower would be given back. When complainant went to pay the bill and pick up the lawnmower, he was advised that someone had already paid and picked it up.

Officer responded to S. Main Street and Glenwood Road in reference to a domestic dispute.

Officer was dispatched to a Booker Street address in reference to a vehicle which had been shot on the roof. Upon arrival, the officer observed the damage to the roof of the vehicle that appeared to look like one larger caliber bullet that was possibly caused by someone shooting in the air. Complainant was scared and confused that maybe someone was trying to harm her but was advised that was not the case.

Officer was dispatched to a Warren Avenue residence in reference to a theft by taking. Upon arrival, complainant told officer that her ex moved out and took the keys and that $400 had been taken from her residence. Complainant advised officer that she made an effort to get the keys back, but her ex would not return them. She also stated that her house keys are with the truck keys.

Complainant reported that two firearms stolen from his vehicle.

Officer was traveling behind a van and observed the passenger side brake light was not working. Officer initiated a traffic stop and found the driver was unlicensed.

July 21

Officer responded to help assist with apprehension of unknown suspect.

Officer was dispatched to a Lewis Street residence in reference to battery/family violence incident.

July 22

Officer was dispatched to a Flanders Street address in reference to an extremely intoxicated subject.

Officer was dispatched to a Coleman Street address in reference to someone flattening victim’s car tires, believing it was her neighbor.

Officer conducted a traffic stop due to suspended registration.

Complainant filed a report that he believes his sister used his Social Security number to obtain funds from unemployment.

Officer responded to a Church Street address in regard to an ex-boyfriend taking the complainant’s son’s birth certificate and Social Security card.

July 23

Officer responded to a Central Street address in reference to a male subject taking lottery tickets.

Complainant filed a report stating a male residing at a Lee Street address has been dumping trash onto his property.

Officer was dispatched in reference to a stolen vehicle.

Officer was dispatched to a Green Street address in reference to a neighbor’s unchained dogs aggressively barking at her and she was afraid they were going to bite her.

Officer responded to an Oak Street residence in reference to someone taking her central H&A unit.

Officers were dispatched to KT’s in reference to a verbal dispute.

Officer was dispatched to a Main Street address in reference to a hit-and-run, causing damage to the rear driver’s side bumper and door.
