December 29, 2020
Officer met with complainant in reference to a theft by conversion report.
December 30
Officer met with complainant in reference to a theft.
Officers responded to EMC in reference to a mental patient being irate and a stab wound patient that walked off from the ER.
Complainant stated offender went to El Valle and took their kid from her and was trying to leave. After speaking with offender, he stated complainant was drinking while having their child, and showed officer a video of complainant threatening to beat offender in front of El Valle.
Officer met with complainant in reference to an identity theft report.
Officer was notified that a female subject that had active felony warrants for her arrest was at the SPD and needed to be transported.
December 31
Officer was dispatched to Sutton Dr. in reference to an entering auto report.
January 1, 2021
Officer received a call to Advanced Metal in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival, officers found the southside door open.
Officer’s tag reader alerted him that the registration on a vehicle was expired. Officer verified this info and also found there was no insurance, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer ran the driver’s license to find that they were suspended for failure to appear, and he was wanted in Richmond County.
Officer observed a vehicle traveling at 61 in a 45 and failure to maintain lane, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. While speaking with the driver, officer noticed a strong odor of alcohol and slurred speech.
January 2
Complainant made a report on a missing firearm.
Officer was dispatched to Family Dollar in reference to shoplifting.
Officer was dispatched to Gumlog Rd. in reference to a house that was broken into.
Officer was dispatched to McLeod Bridge Rd. in reference to the home owner making a report of someone breaking into the residence and taking some property.
Officer was dispatched to EMC in reference to a entering auto report.
Officer was dispatched to Plaza Pharmacy in referenced to harassing communication.
Officer observed a vehicle with no insurance, at which time he initiated a traffic stop.
January 3
Officer noticed offender and a female at Mike’s in what seemed to be some sort of altercation that looked to be physical. Officer pulled in the parking lot.
Officer responded to N. Coleman St. in reference to a domestic dispute.
Officer took a report in reference to complainant stating her boyfriend went to her residence and broke her driver and passenger side mirrors off of her car and stole her license plate. She also stated he broke the window on the back of her house that she rents.
Officer was dispatched to Crump St. in reference to complainant stating he and his fiancé allowed offender to stay with them until she could get back on her feet but their landlord said offender could not stay there. When complainant told offender, she left and complainant discovered that some items were missing from their residence.
Complainant stated his truck was stolen and his wallet and other things were taken, as well as transactions from his bank account.
January 4
Officer heard a single gunshot in the area of Williams and Rentz St. Upon arrival, the street was lined with vehicles and people. The area was cleared but no shell casing was located.
Officer was dispatched to East Stop in reference to a civil dispute.
Officer responded to Industrial Way in reference to a new lawn mower in the middle of the road. The chain link fence of the equipment yard had been cut.
January 5
Officer was dispatched to Durden Dr. in reference to a report of criminal trespass.
Officer was positioned at Dollar Tree for the purpose of a hit and run report.
Officer responded to Abundance St. in reference to a dispute.
January 6
Officer took a report over the phone. Complainant stated while she was at the courthouse, with her boyfriend, she was threatened by offender and she wanted to make a report in case anything happened.
Officer was dispatched to Huddle House in reference to complainant stating offender was backing up in the middle of the road and complaint made a hand gesture asking what he was doing and offender pulled up to the window and started cussing at complainant and refused to leave after being asked several times.
Officer met with complainant in reference to theft of water at CWS.
Complainant contacted officers requesting a report at the animal shelter.
January 7
Complainant stated someone scratched and dented her vehicle.
Officer made contact with a vehicle to find the owner had active warrants out for Bulloch County.
Officer took a report in reference to a stolen handgun.
Officer responded to Rainbow Ridge in reference to a stolen vehicle.
January 8
Officers were dispatched to Lewis St. in reference to a male hitting complainant.
Officer responded to Racetrack St. in reference to a stolen wallet.
Officer was dispatched to King Circle Dr. in referenced to a domestic in progress.
Officer was dispatched to N. Main St. in reference to a theft report.
Officer responded to Lucky St. in reference to a nuisance dog.
Officer was dispatched to WalMart in reference to shoplifting.
Officer responded to The Deluxe Inn in reference to an unwanted female who was refusing to leave.
Officer responded to Claxton Ave. in reference to a stolen firearm.
Officer responded to The Smith Activity Center in reference to a physical altercation.
Complainant made a report regarding damage to vehicle.
Officer responded to New St. in reference to damaged property.
January 9
Officer was dispatched to Waller Dr. in reference to complainant stating there was someone on the roof of her house playing music.
Officer was dispatched to Long View Rd. in reference to a theft.
Officer observed a vehicle traveling 51 in a 35, at which time he conducted a traffic stop. Once officer ran the driver’s license, it was found that he was wanted out of Lincoln County.
Officer was traveling on Kite Rd. behind a vehicle and ran the tag to find it had no insurance.
Officer ran the registration plate on a vehicle to find the owner had a suspended license.
Officer ran a tag to find the vehicle did not have valid insurance.
Officer was dispatched to Moore’s Personal Care Home in reference to a staff member’s complainant against a patient.
January 10
Officer was dispatched to WalMart in reference to a shoplifter being irate.
Officer responded to Latitude 105 in reference to a fight between a male and female.
Officer was dispatched to West St. in reference to a dispute.
Officer responded to Waller Dr. in reference to an elderly female claiming someone was on her roof playing music near the chimney.
Officer was dispatched to Mike’s in reference to a dispute that previously occurred.
