SMS Beta takes State

The Swainsboro Middle School Jr. Beta Club recently traveled to the State Jr. Beta Convention

in Savannah, GA. Thirty-six students attended and competed in a wide variety of activities from

academics to arts. The club placed top five in nine different events which qualifies them to

compete in these areas at the National Beta Convention next summer in Louisville, Kentucky.

These students were invited to be Premier Performers at the National Convention.

Swainsboro Middle School is extremely proud of these students and how well they represented

our school and our district. We are excited to begin planning a trip to Nationals in Kentucky and

look forward to reaching out for community support.
