Swainsboro High School celebrates Homecoming this week with the theme “Lights, Camera, Action.” Dress up days included Marvel characters on Monday, Disney characters on Tuesday, Battle of the Fandoms on Wednesday, Movie Icons on Thursday, and Spirit Day on Friday.
Each grade level selected students to represent their class on the Homecoming Court. They are Allie Taylor and Akira Marion for ninth grade, Jocie Hendrix and Jordan Wadley-Gardner for tenth grade, and Chasity Adams and Hayleigh Jordan for eleventh grade.
Four senior girls and four senior boys will vie for the title of Homecoming King and Queen. Boys are Scotty Boatright, JaQuavious Lattimore, O’Shawn Tillman and Paul Warren. Girls are Torri Allen, Hollan Coleman, Malaysia Lockett, and Madison Williford. Crowning will take place at halftime during Friday’s game against Dublin.
An outdoor pep rally will be held Friday afternoon at Tiger Field to announce the representatives and boost school spirit.
