Shelter Senior Spotlight: Friday

Posted

In celebration of November being National Adopt-A-Senior-Pet Month, The Forest-Blade will be highlighting adoptable senior dogs currently available at the Betty Gambrell Animal Shelter. Highlighted as this week’s adoptable senior pet is Friday. Friday is a seven-year-old female mix breed that was surrendered to the local animal shelter. Her intake date was September 27 of this year. This month will mark two months of Friday being an intake at the local (no-kill) animal shelter and she is desperately looking for a good, loving home to enjoy her senior life to the fullest. Having already been spayed, Friday can be your new best friend for just $50, which covers the required $15 rabies vaccination and $35 adoption fee.

The Betty Gambrell Animal Shelter is located at 343 Market Street in Swainsboro. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. For additional information about Friday or other adoptables or to inquire on ways to lend a helping hand, give the animal shelter a call at 478-237-4040.
