Swainsboro-Emanuel County Recreation Department’s (SECRD) 14U Girls Allstar Team traveled to Augusta June 23 to compete in the Georgia Recreation and Park Association State Softball Tournament. Hosted by Augusta Recreation and Parks Department, the double-elimination tournament was played at Diamond Lakes Regional Park.
Swainsboro-Emanuel lost to Douglas/Coffee County in their first game of the tournament June 23. They were defeated by Camden County later that day.
Members of the 14U Girls Allstar Team are Gracie Beneteau, Rachel Hernandez, Addalyn Terwilliger, Cassidy Jordan, Kayla Crabb, Kristen Mulrooney, Hailey Way, Skyler Williford, Abbigayle Coleman, Jennifer Ambrosia, Charlee Self, Tramyra Brown and Sadie Self. The team is coached by Chris Mulrooney, Shelly Mulrooney and Christy Hernandez.
