Swainsboro-Emanuel County Recreation Department’s 14U Boys Allstar Baseball Team placed fourth in the Georgia Recreation and Park Association State Baseball Tournament played June 23 - June 25 at Diamond Lakes Regional Park. The Class A/B tournament was hosted by Augusta Recreation and Parks Department.
Playing for the 14U Boys Allstar Team are Richard Braddy, Jayden Brinson, Jaylen Clark, Kason Edenfield, Brody Fleming, Shane Gamaza, Peyton Mason, Cody Parks, Bruce Rackins, Maddox Robertson, Gauge Hall and Andres Simmons. Coaches are Corey Chalker and Kaden Youmans.
Swainsboro-Emanuel began tournament play with a 14-4 win over Dalton on June 23. They lost to Wayne County 10-4 in their first game the following day but came back to defeat Augusta 17-0. Swainsboro-Emanuel finished the tournament in fourth place after losing a close game to Lyons, 8-7 on June 25.
