Swainsboro-Emanuel County Recreation Department’s (SECRD) 12U Girls Allstar Softball Team competed in the Georgia Recreation and Park Association Class AB 12U Girls Fastpitch Softball State Tournament in Danielsville June 22 and June 23. Madison County Recreation Department hosted the double-elimination tournament at Sammy Haggard Park.
Members of the 12U Girls Allstar Team are Berklie Bishop, Chloe Boulineau, Brook Fleming, Senaria Hillman, Kyleigh Hostilo, Charley Mitchell, Payton Peebles, Aubrey Scott, Sara Smith and Ariel Tanner. Coaches are Trent Boulineau and Lori Smith.
Swainsboro-Emanuel lost to Lee County 8-4 in their first game of the tournament June 22. They were defeated by Cedartown in a close game the following day. Final score was 3-1.
