Swainsboro-Emanuel County Recreation Departments 10U Football All-Stars had a great season and finished as the 2021 GRPA Class B 10U Football State Runner-Up. The team traveled to Effingham on Saturday, December 11, to play Peach County in the State Championship game. Unfortunately, they came up short as they lost by a score of 12-7. This is the first time a football all-star team from Swainsboro-Emanuel County has played for a state title.
Team members included Chase Banks, Khymmerre Bell, Camaury Bostic, Zi’Len Boynton, Banks Burke, Jay Cuyler, Ashton David, Jeffery Davis, Quinton Dukes, Hunter Fullmore, Damos Handsom, Tenojay Harris, Maddux Hendrix, Kalei Hunter, Kyle Johnson, Caleb Jones, Vaiden Kirkland, Jeriahan Miles, Justin Nobles, Chandler Smith, Dylan Steele, Eric Worthen and Gavin Worthen.
Coaches included Head Coach Hugh Hendrix and Assistant Coaches, Joey Burke, Rafael Jordon, Bruce Sutton and Garrett Worthen.
