Swainsboro-Emanuel County Recreation Department’s 10U Boys Allstar Basketball Team finished runner-up in the Georgia Recreation and Park Association Class “B” First District Tournament held Feb. 16-19 in Springfield.
Members of the 10U Boys Allstar Team are Jayvion Sherrod, Malcolm Steele, Artis Kingsberry, Kamarion Dukes, Quintin Dukes, Ty’kevius Worthen, Caden Watson, Zi’len Boynton, Ashton David and Charlie Fluellen. Coaches are David Coleman, Kawame Coleman and Quintin Dukes.
The Allstar Team began tournament play by defeating Washington County on Feb. 16. They lost to Rincon in the championship game on Feb. 19.
The district tournament was hosted by Effingham County Recreation and Parks and played at the Clarence E. Morgan Complex Gym.
