Seabrough twins part of team crowned co-champion of 17U showcase

Fred and Ced Seabrough, the rising senior standouts for Swainsboro High School, added another feather to their cap when they recently played in and co-championed the 17U LakePoint LIVE Showcase. The twins are members of the Game Elite Big Five, one of the two teams who split title.

According to lakepointhoops.com, Game Elite 3SSB and Game Elite Big Five were crowned as co-champions of the 17U division of the LakePoint LIVE Showcase after respective wins over Aim High and Pro One.

Game Elite's 3SSB was led by Randy Brady, who scored 23 points in the win over Aim High. Jamel King scored 19 points, and James White added 15 points.

Aim High was led by AJ White with 11 points in the loss, but also received a great contribution from Omarion Smith.

Game Elite Big Five's win over Pro One included an incredible performance by Scoot Henderson, who scored 33 points in the win, including 20 in the first half. Chase Cormier and Joyful Hawkins each added 17, capping off huge weekends for each of them.

Fred Seabrough played a great championship game with 18 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block to contribute to the 88–79 win for the Elite Game Big 5. His brother played minimal minutes, adding just 1 rebound in the win to cap off a great 3-day tournament victory.

They are both committed to play Division I football for NC State.

Pro One had a sharpshooting performance from Matthew Sells in the loss, who knocked down five threes in the second half and finished with 21 points, with Liberty commit Brody Peebles adding 15.
