Scarboro celebrates first birthday

How do you celebrate a one-year old’s birthday? Make it simple – cake, presents, family and friends. One year old Cameron Scarboro had it all on Saturday, August 28. She turned one on August 12.

Cameron’s parents, Shot and Caroline Scarboro, invited family and friends to their lovely home at 613 Patrick Way in Statesboro to celebrate with Cam. Happy Birthday balloons and decorations in pink and gold decorated the mantle, gift table, and refreshment table.

The birthday girl was attired in a white romper with pink flowers and a pink bow in her hair. Her three-year old brother, Cooper, had on his “Big Brother” shirt for the event.

As with every one year old, the pink buttercream smash cake was a hit, providing lots of pictures and laughter. Her birthday cake, also decorated in pink and gold with buttercream icing, was a hit with the adults.

Cam received many fun and educational presents. Brother Cooper along with first cousins, Lainey and Leanna of Swainsboro, assisted in opening presents. Her favorite gift was a tea set picked out by Leanna.

Paternal grandparents are Wanda and Wayne Scarboro of Swainsboro. Maternal grandparents are Faith and David Cooper of Eatonton.
