Sause, Akridge announces summer wedding plans

Mr. and Mrs. Brian Sause of Swainsboro are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Kyler Sause, to Mr. Daren Akridge, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Akridge of Twin City.

The bride-elect is a 2017 honor graduate of David Emanuel Academy. She continued her education at East Georgia State College, where she graduated in 2019 with an associates degree in early childhood education. She is currently pursuing a bachelors degree in elementary education, with future graduate plans set for May 2022. Miss Sause is currently employed by Emanuel County Schools. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Livingston of Swainsboro, the late Patsy Willis of Canoochee, and the late Tom Sause of Midville; and is the great-granddaughter of Betty Sause of Swainsboro.

The future groom is a 2018 graduate of Emanuel County Institute and is employed by Ed’s Masonry and Concrete. He is the grandson of Julia Atkinson of Swainsboro, Mr. and Mrs. Garland Akridge of Twin City, the late Janice Kersey Atkinson of Kite, and the late Randall Atkinson of Swainsboro.

The wedding is set for June 5, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Swainsboro. A reception will follow at the Swainsboro Country Club.
