One of two FEMA bunkhouse trailers in route to staging for Hurricane Ian overturned on U.S. 1 GA 4. The driver was uninjured but the truck and bunkhouse trailer were demolished. Swainsboro Fire Department, Emanuel County EMS and Emanuel County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene.
The roadway will be closed from McLeod Bridge Road to U.S. Hwy. 80 until further notice.
