Revolutionary War grave marking held

On Saturday, March 25, 2023, a Revolutionary War Patriot Grave Marking was held at the Magnolia Cemetery in Augusta. Dedication of the Markers to the Speaker of the House, William Glascock, and his son, Lt. Thomas Glascock, of the Georgia Continental Line was held at the cemetery with participants from the Georgia and South Carolina Sons of the American Revolution. The Col. William Few Chapter, SAR, was the sponsor of the Grave Marking. Approximately 35 wreaths were laid to honor these two Patriots. Also attending, was the Brier Creek Artillery which fired a three-round volley with their cannons along with Compatriots firing their flintlocks. Compatriot Don Bazemore played taps.
