After a short pursuit on March 16, 2021, Deputies Wilson Rodrigues and Cara Woods arrested Tyrease Devon Lanier of Swainsboro. Officers were looking for Lanier’s vehicle as a result of an earlier pursuit. Deputy Rodrigues discovered 34 individual bags of powder cocaine and 20 individual bags of marijuana. He also found a large bag of marijuana weighing 36 grams.
Lanier was charged with fleeing / attempting to elude a police officer, driving with a suspended license, possession of drug related objects, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
