Pong (Kim) Nyo Jones, 84, resident of Summertown, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022, at her residence. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 19, at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Randy Walden officiating. Interment followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery in the Dellwood community. The family received friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home Saturday morning from 10 until 11 a.m.
Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea, to the late Yong Chan Choe and Mae Nyu Kim. She had retired as a seamstress, and was a member of Hines Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her husband, Donald T. Jones; and granddaughter, Hayley Doe.
Survivors include her three children, Mary Doe (Mark), Ron Jones, and Donna Riner (Mitch); five grandchildren, Alexia Doe, Destin Doe, Sydney Doe-Jones (Casey), Sean Riner, and Lauren Riner; two great-grandchildren, Gareth Yoder and Isaac Yoder; and many, many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were by Tomlinson Funeral Home and Crematory of Swainsboro.
