Mrs. Patsy Lee, but preferably Pat, blessed the world with her presence on October 16, 1962. She was born in Swainsboro to E.B. and Louise Woods, and the baby sister to six siblings. In conversation with those siblings, you could quickly learn that her entertaining mischief and bullheaded ways wasn't anything new for Pat. Without hesitation, they all agree that as a child, she held the title of the meanest and most disciplined of the seven. Later, Pat met and married the love of her life, Randy, after dating for a short three weeks, and recently celebrated their 33rd anniversary. They shared one daughter Brandy, and four grandchildren who was the light of Pat's life. She spent her later years as a homemaker and raising her three grandchildren, Diesel, Memphis, and Malaya. Pat often voiced that she wanted her life celebrated rather than her death mourned. In her short sixty years, she blessed us with memories to last a lifetime. She gave meaning to “dynamite comes in small packages”, more so in her last few months here. She was effortlessly funny and always giving others a laugh while never meeting a stranger. She'll be remembered for her willingness to help anyone in need, her giving ways, her ability to easily forgive, and most of all, the way she fiercely loved. She was known to randomly text and call day and night just to say, "I love you more." Pat loved big but we loved her even bigger. She fought the good fight and without a doubt, we know she's already giving Heaven some hell! Mrs. Lee is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Buddy Woods and Bruce Woods; sister, Ernestine Kersey; and nephew, Benji Woods.
Survivors include her husband, Randy Lee of Swainsboro; daughter, Brandy Lee of Swainsboro; sister, Jinny Woods Peebles (Billy) of Swainsboro; brothers, Frank Woods and Ricky Woods (Gennette), both of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Diesel Carter, Memphis Carter, Malaya Carter, and Zak Bolton; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
