Mrs. Pat Jones, 67, of Adrian, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021, at Treutlen Health & Rehab following an extended illness. Graveside service was held Tuesday, January 19, at 11 a.m. at Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Sam Atkins officiating. Family received friends Tuesday, January 19, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Chapman Funeral Home. In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6-feet rule was enforced during visitation and service.
Pallbearers were Steve Jones, James Kersey, Stan Coleman, Mitchell Moore, and Tommy Jenkins.
Mrs. Jones was born June 17, 1953, in Swainsboro, to the late Lonnie Foskey and Evelyn Dixon Foskey. She loved flowers and going camping, and was a member of Sardis Primitive Baptist Church for 25 years. Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include Wailand Jones of Adrian; sons, Joey Kersey of Hawkinsville, David Kersey (Mary) of Jesup, and James Jones of Thompson; brothers, Bobby Foskey of Lyons and George Foskey (Joyce) of Mt. Vernon; 5 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro is in charge of arrangements.
