Make plans to be in Downtown Swainsboro on Sunday, July 3, to attend the first annual Freedom Fest: Red, Wet, and Blue Parade set to begin at 6 p.m. Bring your buckets, your water guns, super soakers, and of course your towel as the Jaycees kick off this year’s Freedom Fest with a city-wide water fight between parade participants and parade attendees. The event will also feature food vendors, a street dance, and fireworks. Registration costs for the parade is set at $25 per entry. And remember…. No Water balloons!!!
