At two minutes past midnight on Sunday, September 20, Emanuel County 911 was notified of an ATV crash with injuries on Stingray Road. EMS, firefighters from Oak Park and Swainsboro, sheriff’s deputies, and Georgia State Patrol were dispatched.
Units located a 45-year-old male with serious trauma and an overturned Kawasaki ATV in the roadway west of the U.S. 1 Bypass. EMS immediately requested an AirEvac helicopter to the Swainsboro Airport, where the patient was flown to Augusta University Medical Center. Georgia State patrol investigated the crash.
