Graveside services for Oma Lee Mack, 86 of Twin City, were held Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Rountree Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Lonnie Johnson presiding. Interment followed at Rountree Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Twin City. She passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 following an extended illness.

Mrs. Oma Lee Mack was born August 26, 1933 in Twin City to the late Jake Parrish Jr. and Clara B. Mercer-Parrish. She was the youngest of three girls and the last living member of her immediate family. In her youthful years, Mack was married to S.A. Nelson Mack. Five children were born to this union. Mack was a devoted Christian and a member of Durden Grove Baptist Church of Twin City for almost 73 years. During her membership at Durden Grove Missionary Baptist Church, she served in many capacities; she was serving as church mother before her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband, siblings, and one daughter, Betty Nelson.

Survivors include her loving children, Clara Nelson, Kathy Jean Mack, and Donna (Freddie) Waters, all of Twin City, and George Anthony Mack of Orlando, Florida; four grandchildren, Titus Nelson of Atlanta, Chrishina Howard of Swainsboro, Rafael Mack of Bishopville, South Carolina, and Shantika Mack of Atlanta; eight great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and church family.

Mosley’s Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
