Notice is hereby given that the city of Swainsboro has levied upon the following property of Deforest Denson to satisfy city taxes owing to the said city for the year(s) of: 2017, 2018, & 2019 in the initial tax amount a $1,572.92 Amount could include additional cost and interest. This can only be calculated when tax is satisfied.
ALL THAT TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND lying, situate and being in the City of Swainsboro, 53rd G.M. District of Emanuel County, Georgia designated as Lot 3 of Block C, Lincoln Park Subdivision and shown by plat of said subdivision which is recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court, Emanuel County, Georgia in Deed Book CT, Page 1A. All that tract or parcel of land lying, situate and being in the City of Swainsboro, 53rd G. M. District of Emanuel County, Georgia, designated as Lot No. 16, Block D, in Lincoln Park Subdivision, fronting on the Northern side of Washington Avenue, as shown on Plat of Survey recorded in Emanuel County Records in Deed Book CT, page 1A, and Lot 16, Block A, Lincoln Park Subdivision, fronting on the Southern side of Lincoln Street, as shown on Plat of Survey recorded in said records in Deed Book CV, page 409. Said lots combined contain 0.230 of an acre, as shown on Plat of Survey made by George William Donaldson, Surveyor, dated January 16, 2002, which is recorded in the Office of Clerk, Emanuel Superior Court, in Plat Book 21, page 712, to which reference is made as a part of this description. Said 0.230 of an acre is bounded now or formerly as follows: Northwest by Lincoln Street; Northeast by lands of Jones Sellers, Jr. and lands of Thelma Jones Estate; Southeast by Washington Avenue; and Southwest by lands of the Swainsboro City Council, formerly lands of Rufus Bailey, and lands of Johnny Bailey, formerly lands of Lonzie L. Said property will be sold before the courthouse doors in Emanuel County. Georgia on the first Tuesday in August 04, 2020, between the legal hours of sale in order to satisfy said tax this 1st day of July 2020.
