No Pine Tree Festival in 2020 due to coronavirus

Posted

The Swainsboro-Emanuel County Festival Foundation, which oversees the Pine Tree Festival and Southeast Timber Expo, has been constantly monitoring the situation with the COVID-19 crisis since early February. As a result of recent developments nationally within the State of Georgia and in the Emanuel County area, related to the continuing spread of the virus, the Pine Tree Festival Foundation Board has made the decision to cancel this year’s festival. The health and safety of the Emanuel County citizens and the patrons of the annual festival are the highest priority of this board, and the board will not jeopardize its participants or patrons. The board will plan an even bigger and better 75th Annual Pine Tree Festival for May 7-8, 2021. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these challenging times. Stay healthy and safe.
