Nine sentenced in Superior Court

The following occurred during the Emanuel County Superior Court October 2019 and January 2021 terms:


October 2019
Amanda Wilson negotiated a plea of guilty on one count criminal attempt enticing child, one count sexual battery, and one count public indecency. She was fined $500 and sentenced to 15 years and 24 months probation.
Willie James Ford negotiated a plea of guilty on one count possession of cocaine. He was fined $50 and sentenced to 15 years probation.

January 2021
Joseph Douglas Paul negotiated a plea of guilty on one count possession of methamphetamine, one count possession of marijuana, and one count theft by shoplifting. He was fined $50 and sentenced to 3 years.
Terry Bernard Sheppard negotiated a plea of guilty on one count theft by taking. Sheppard was fined $50 and sentenced to 20 years, with the first 5 years to be served in confinement.
Amy Lauree Morris Whitaker negotiated a plea of guilty on one count attempt to violate the GA controlled substance act. She was fined $50 and sentenced to 1 year and 6 months probation.
Jimmy Lee Williamson negotiated a plea of guilty on one count cruelty to children in the second degree. He was fined $1,000 and sentenced to 5 years probation.
Anthony Deshawn Randall negotiated a plea of guilty (alford) on one count aggravated assault (FV) and two counts cruelty to children 3rd degree. He was fined $50 and sentenced to 10 years probation.
Michael Howell negotiated a plea of guilty (alford) on one count possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He was fined $100 and sentenced to 10 years probation.
Jerry Wilkerson negotiated a plea of guilty on one count possession of methamphetamine, one count DUI, one count possession of drug related object and one count habitual violator. He was fined $50 and sentenced to 8 years probation.
Wilkerson faced additional charges under three separate criminal action numbers. Sentences for these offenses are as follows:
Wilkerson negotiated a plea of guilty on one count driving without license. He was fined $50 and sentenced to 5 years. In addition, he was fined $100 for a failure to wear seat belt charge.
Wilkerson negotiated a plea of guilty on one count fleeing to elude, one count driving without license, and one count DUI. He was fined $50 and sentenced to 10 years with the first 5 years to be served in confinement.
Wilkerson negotiated a plea of guilty on one count possession of methamphetamine. He was fined $50 and sentenced to 3 years.
