Mrs. Nell Oglesby, 87, of Twin City passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at her residence following an extended illness. Graveside held Friday, July 16, at 11 a.m. at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Jim Harrell and Mr. Derwin Johnson officiating.
Pallbearers were Brent Clifton, Keith Clifton, David Clifton, Steve Clifton, Lonnie Smith, and David Ellington.
Mrs. Oglesby was born March 11, 1934, to the late Elmer Clifton and Pearl Drew Clifton. She retired from B. C. Moore’s and was a cosmetologist. Mrs. Oglesby loved her family dearly; her grandchildren were the light of her life. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds and making crafts, and was a member of Antioch Primitive Baptist Church with an enormous faith. Mrs. Oglesby is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mars Oglesby; sisters, Bobbie Smith and Ruth Johnson; and brothers, J. D. Clifton, Carroll Clifton, and Gene Clifton. 
Survivors include her sons, Gregg Oglesby and Troy (Rhonda) Oglesby, both of Twin City; daughters, Jenny (Bill) Hine and Patricia (Richard) Sweat, both of Twin City; grandchildren, Tori (George) Pellerin, Logan (Katie) Oglesby, Kacie Oglesby (Brandon Sumner), Tiffany Hine, Billy (Emma) Hine, Dusty Sweat, Amanda (Weston) Jarriel, Swayde Oglesby, Montana Oglesby, Chelsea Taylor, and Garrett Taylor; great-grandchildren, Amelia Meadows, Pearl Meadows, Liam Dawson Oglesby, Adley Jarriel, Ander Jerriel, and Maya Hine; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Antioch Primitive Baptist Church cemetery fund.
Chapman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
