The youth at Mount Olivet Baptist Church of Garfield will host a bake sale and lemonade stand to raise money for World Vision's 30-Hour Famine and Weekend Blessings. The fundraising event is set for tomorrow, April 8, from 9 a.m. until, and will be held in front of South Auction and Realty, located at 338 E. Main Street in Swainsboro. Leslie Frederick, youth leader for the church, asks everyone to please come out and support the youth as they work to help in the fight against childhood hunger.
