Vacation Bible School at Mt. Olivet Baptist near Garfield is boarding "Rocky Railway" for three days of adventure. Passengers and crew leaders will learn how to Trust Jesus' Power! - this year’s VBS theme.
Classes, food and fun are on the itinerary and begin when the train leaves the station (church) each day June 2 - June 4. Departure is set for 6 p.m. and return at 8:30 p.m.
The last stop will be June 6. Graduation for passengers is planned for Sunday, June 6, at 11 a.m. Following a covered-dish meal, graduates may take a ride on a water slide which will be available for their enjoyment. Participants are encouraged to pack towels and appropriate clothing.
For those needing a ride to VBS during the week, the church bus will pull off from Garfield Methodist at 5:40 p.m. and return there to unload at 8:40 p.m.
