Ms. Laura Moore of Kite is pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Miss Tina Allison Moore, to Mr. Justin Lynn Thompson. She is also the daughter of the late Chris Moore Sr. Her fiancé is the son of Lynn and Sandie Thompson of Swainsboro.
The bride-elect graduated from Swainsboro High School in 2012. She received a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design from Georgia Southern University and is currently employed as a sales merchandiser at Dot’s Boutique in Swainsboro.
Miss Moore is the granddaughter of the late W.A. and Tina Lawson Welch and the late Russell Moore.
The future groom is a member of Swainsboro High School’s Class of 2011. He received an electronics technology degree from Southeastern Technical College and is employed as a senior instrument and controls technician at Plant Vogtle in Waynesboro.
Mr. Thompson is the grandson of Dorothy Thompson, Dennis Rich, and late Hubert Thompson, and the late Peggy Rich.
The wedding is planned for April 18, 2020 at 5 p.m. at Sardis Primitive Baptist Church in Kite. A reception will follow at Swainsboro Golf and Country Club.
