Miss Jackson, Mr. Freeman announce winter wedding plans

Alton and Jodi Reynolds and Mitch Jackson of Swainsboro are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Miss Malanie Paige Jackson, to Mr. Thomas Monroe (TJ) Freeman Jr. He is the son of Tommy and Donna Freeman of Swainsboro.

The bride-elect is a 2014 graduate of Swainsboro High School. She continued her education at East Georgia College, graduating with an associate degree. She then pursued and obtained her bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University and a master’s degree from University of Georgia. She is currently employed by Pruitt Hospice in Swainsboro as a licensed master social worker. Miss Jackson is the granddaughter of Dale and Sandra Wright, Terry and JoAnn Reynolds of Swainsboro, and Carol Jackson and the late Alvin Jackson. She is the great-granddaughter of Faye Sconyers and the late Sam Sconyers of Swainsboro.

The future groom is a 2015 graduate of Swainsboro High School. He continued his education at East Georgia State College and Southeastern Technical College and obtained his electrical maintenance degree. He is currently employed at Crider Poultry Inc. in Stillmore as an electrical technician. Mr. Freeman is the grandson of Joann Cannon and Martha Faye Freeman of Swainsboro, the late JW and Elna Cannon, and the late Rev. Dr. James Ray Freeman. 

The wedding is set for December 12, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. at The First Baptist Church in Swainsboro. A reception will follow at the Mont Royal Clubhouse.
