Mr. and Mrs. Brian Hayslip of Summertown proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Tara Gabriel Hayslip, to Mr. Colby Scott, son of Vince and April Scott of Swainsboro.
The bride-elect is a 2018 graduate of Emanuel County Institute. Miss Hayslip continued her education by obtaining her associates degree in early childhood education through East Georgia State College in 2020. She is employed at HFM Services. Miss Hayslip is the granddaughter of Donna and George Kirkland of Midville, Vicki and Johnny Way of Kite, and Eleanor and Don Hayslip of Summertown.
The future groom graduated from Southeastern Technical College in 2016 with a Welding degree, and is employed at UPS. Mr. Scott is the grandson of Barbara and Ricky Ely of Swainsboro, and Carolyn and John D. Scott of Covena.
