Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Brown of Swainsboro and Mr. and Mrs. Alven Bellew, II of Mount Vernon are excited to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashlyn Mercedes Brown of Swainsboro, to Brent Chase Allen of Millen. Mr. Allen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Allen and the late Mrs. Sheree Andrews of Dublin.
The bride-elect is a 2018 graduate of Swainsboro High School. She is the granddaughter of Mike and Judy Gay of Oak Park, the late Bruce Edward Mullis of Oak Park, Randy Brown of Wrens, and Larry and Debra Hall of Swainsboro.
The future groom is a 2017 graduate of Emanuel County Institute, and works full-time on a farm in Millen. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Allen of Millen.
The wedding is set for December 3, at 5 p.m. at The Reynolds Clubhouse.
