Miss Andrews to wed Mr. Walden September 26

Mr. Gerald Bruce “Andy” Andrews of West Point and Mrs. Gina Lynn McDiarmid of Pensacola, Florida announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Andrews, to William Isaac Walden, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Athen “Bill” Walden of Metter.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Bruce Andrews Sr. of West Point, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cotter of Roanoke, Alabama, and the late Betty Jean Cotter.

Miss Andrews graduated in 2014 from Springwood School in Lannet, Alabama and from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. Miss Andrews was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She received a Master’s in Nursing from Augusta University.

The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Hilda Walden and the late Mr. Billy Walden of Canoochee and Mrs. Pat Rountree and the late Mr. George Robert Rountree of Twin City.

A 2012 honor graduate of David Emanuel Academy, Mr. Walden graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Georgia Southern University, where he was also a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He is employed with The Lodge at Bethany in Statesboro.

A small family wedding is planned for September 26, 2020 at Three Oaks Farm in LaGrange. Formal invitations will be sent.
