Mr. Miller Ford, Jr., age 74, left his earthly home peacefully Saturday, September 4, 2021, at his residence. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, September 11, at 1 p.m. at Green Cemetery in Cross-Green Community with Rev. Jerry Armstrong as Eulogist.

Mr. Ford was born October 28, 1946, to the late Miller and Mattie Fields Ford in Emanuel County. He was educated at home in the community. Miller was a former member of Brinson Rock Baptist Church. Seeking employment for a better life, he relocated to St. Petersburg, FL and resided there for 40 years. While there, he was employed by Interbay Marine. Miller loved cooking, working on cars, and helping others. Mr. Ford is prece3ded in death by his parents; son, Daryl Riggins; two brothers, Johnny Ford and Allen Ford; a sister, Martha Ford Davis.

Mr. Ford leaves to cherish his memories with a long-term companion, Nina Riggins; three daughters, Daytra Riggins, Talena Riggins, and Yoland Evans, all of St. Petersburg, FL; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; a God-sister; a God-brother; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
